Best way to ship a sear pack?

I just deleted the post in which I recommended cmshoot cmshoot and Scott at CTS Tactical CTS Tactical but I overlooked the the part in your post about having the rifle built. I didn't think you could have a fully automatic gun built Unless it was for a government entity. Would someone chime in here about the legalities of that.

Ask the smith who is doing the work how they plan to ship it back? And just use the same service they do.

Personally I'd just overnight it with UPS.

I am having a semi HK21 Built, but with HK's you can move a trigger pack from gun to gun... so a semi 21, allows the addition of a sear pack, just like an HK-91, 93, 94... all you need is a full auto- carrier. The actual NFA registered item is the sear installed in the pack. Similar to a registered Lightning Link or DIAS for an AR-15 platform.

Illegal to have in your carry-on. No gun parts……if they manage to ID it as gun parts.

If they do, he’ll never get the parts back, in additional to fines and possible jail time.
And I wouldn't trust baggage handlers anymore than I would postal employees.

Look into USPS Registered Mail. Must meet sealing restrictions and is handled separately from any regular mail with signatures required at each stop along the way I believe.

I'd hop on over to the HKPro Forum & ask there. Also ask the smith who is doing the work their recommended method.

Absolutely.
I flew to LaGuardia in December of 94 with a Grendel 380 and extra loaded mag. I had to get a metal lock box for it and check in early so they could confirm I packed it right AND hanf a big red tag on the suitcase before putting it in checked through baggage. In Atlanta nobody thought anything about it. But in NYC when the baggage claim people saw that tag they acted like there was human organs in it. Nobody wanted to touch it. I still remember the guy asking "Are you a cop? " When I told him I wasn't he just said
"Nevermind I don't wanna know nothing else. "
Point here is that the red tag on the suitcase is a flashing "Steal Me" sign.
