Exactly! If they pose as a potential threat then pop em..If I see them I the woods away from where I reside then live and let be. Everybody I have ever known sees a venomous snake their first reaction is to kill. I love wildlife and just because I can kill it didn't mean I should. They serve a purpose so I let things be out in the secluded areas. Now one within 20 yards from my house than I have to mull that over before I act. However I have seen huge snake skins my root cellar. If I see one down there it gets blasted. If they are not to close to my house then I get long stick and home run swing that thing as far into the kudzu as I can. If it's within 10 or so from the house I'm going Jean Autry on that bastard.
They get the 410 treatment here. We have a bunch of kids in the neighborhood. Not worth the risk.
