here is an idea: ask them the important questions in a private message on here and save it. Examples: Are you over 21?
Are you a resident of GA with a GA ID?, Are you a convicted felon? etc
You will have a record of it, their name can be tied to their account if for reason it is ever needed. Everybody is happy and no ones feelings get hurt.

What kind of suspission would it raise.... Is the gun stolen? By signing some sort of BoS it gives the buyer a POM he or she is NOT recieving stolen property of some sort.

You actually believe this? They have already committed a felony! What makes you think they are going to just say, "Holy Crap. This guy wants a BOS for this stolen gun. I am going to give him my real name and address or he is going to get suspicious!" Right. They are going to whip out their fake ID and sell you a stolen gun. DUH! Also, how the heck are you going to figure out if it stolen during the deal? You can't even do that with the National Instant Check System.

That or either they are felons and are scared of gettin caught.

Getting caught by whom exactly? Once again, if they have already committed a felony, what make you think they are going to even think twice about filling out some bogus piece of paper to satisfy some FFL wanna-be?

I am buying a gun that will ultimately be for my stepdaughter in Ohio. I am not sure what their requirements are and I dont want her to get into any trouble, as for me, personally it doesn't matter. I have several that I got from someone else no BOS. I dont no that I am going to register it unless its required in Ohio. I still got to research it. Gotta protect the kids, even if she is 25.LOL
