Bill of sale

If somebody with a Wyoming phone number shows up to buy your gun in a rental vehicle, I think you'd better get some kind of assurance that they are actually a resident of the same state as you are.

Taking a look at their drivers license or other government ID is a fast and easy way to do that.

Some seventeen responses to this thread YESTERDAY and I get detention for tardiness?
Oh no!! I was being funny, so I thought......I'm not the one to worry about.......There are others........Me, I'm glad for every member we have....... :dizzy: Don't take me too seriously. I spent my life having to be deadly serious. I refuse to live that way anymore. Life's too short....

I was being funny too. My dry wit is not always understood. Pogo, the Okefenokee possum said "Don't take life too serious, it ain't got much permanence no how"

Help me understand why some members require a bill of sale for the purchase of their firearms when in the state of Georgia it’s not a requirement. For me I won’t give my personal information to a stranger ( license number, address, CCP, phone number etc… it’s like asking for someone to break into my residence or even worse be scammed some way. I choose to keep scrolling when I see that in a ad what’s your opinion?
Because they’re retarded.
