Brazen for sure. Bears may have entered the home for the meal

My granddad had a small ranch in that same area until his death. He never left the house without a Winchester. Wild country down there, still. Those were big bears in the article.

Wow! That's odd that the three bears where in such close proximity unless there was a trash dump near. Normally they tend to keep their distance from one another to reduce competition for a potential mate. I have never heard of that. Most are very solitary.
