Black vehicle Trim

Propane torch will renew but basically ruin them, it pulls the remaining petrochemical to the surface where it then fades again but worse and weakens the integrity, best proven bet is to just tape off and paint it’s about the same effort

Cerakote trim works great. I did my 2019 Honda Ridgeline and wife's 2020 RAV 4 last year about July and both still look like new. Isn't a greasy film and hasn't washed off with numerous car washes. Also, both of these vehicles live outside and have never seen the inside of a garage in their life. Well worth the price. I need to do the Cerakote paint sealant again as it is starting to lose its effectiveness. Been about a year on that also.

This is an update on the Black Vehicle Trim.i used the cerakote ceramic trim kit from amazon.
The initial coat looks like it worked.
Here are some pictures for reference.
We will see after it is completed.

Maybe it's worth trying, Thanks
I just ordered some.
My buddy would do it with a heat gun. He would hold it a few inches from the trim and go back and forth making sure not to hold it in the same spot too long. Works great, you just got to find that right distance from the trim to heat it up but not burn it quickly.
