Man todays gas, I can drop a lit cigarette in a bucket of it and it will not ignite.

Naw, a-lot of things have to happen in a row for it to happen, but it will/can happen..
Good friend of mine years ago was smoking filling up lawn equipment before shift working for the state working sate prisoners'.... gas can blew up received third degree burns on right arm before they put it out his beard saved his face ....... spent a few weeks in Grady's burn unit

Yeah, my boi Beach and his co-workers said the same thing they were all smoking and have been doing the same routine for years............ no one knows how it started all they knew they were all in the middle of a lake of fire.
the cool morning kept the fume's down low to ground and was ignited in some way.
