I know a tank of propane will not explode if you shoot it. I was wondering if it would if you filled it with an oxygen/acetylene mixture instead. Any thoughts?

I saw one of the lantern sized explode when hit with a tracer round. It was cool till the shrapnel started flying.

I have done it with a small one with a tracer. I would try a full size one with a roadside flare next to it and shoot it with a round from a safe distance.
I shot a small one once (I thought that since it was empty it would do no damage) that went about 200 feet in the air and landed on the hood of my truck! Major SNAFU! Here's a tip for you: They are more dangerous when "empty" than when full!
