Anyone know where i can buy some bluing chemicals locally either for cold or hot bluing?

yeah i sure am
anyways im just experimenting with finish on a slide, want to see ho this would look with the currently steel sides blued have sanded and polished it up better than this picture indicates. http://www.theoutdoorstrader.com/threads/344182-1911-Project-looking-for-advice

Also interested in seeing what if any affect i has on the painted surfaces
