Only reason to bring it out of the woods is to throw it on someone else's property for the buzzards to eat
I threw it on the bank owned property next to me.
Nice job. I've never heard of anyone getting em with a bow and now you're the second one from here this year.
Yeah, I saw Whitelightin's and didn't want to rob his post. Had 2 come in and 15 seconds to get a shot. second one took off like a shot.

Good thing about bow season: The deer are not nearly as spooked as they will be once 15000 x hunters suddenly show up in the woods.
Bad thing about bow season: You have to be a LOT closer to a deer. 40 yards is the absolute max-with a good bow and a LOT of practice.
*I like bow hunting, but once gun season comes in I go to the rifle. I ain't nowhere near good (or patient) enough to get that close to spooked deer.

Congrats, that's a cute, smelly, and DEAD coyote!, tip my hat to you, we could not hit the side of the barn, with a base fiddle using a bow.
We have better luck with rifle.
