Bowhunting in the rain

Was out this morning bowhunting in the rain, looking for movement between showers. I began to wonder about something I dont think Ive ever seen addressed. Has anyone noticed a real difference in how there bow shoots when wet? Got pretty soaked a few times and would think it has to make SOME difference if that big buck walked out at longer yardages. Anyone have any experience?

Carbon arrows with plastic fletching. Shooting a "modern" compound, no wood on the bow

As long as your strings are waxed properly you shouldn't have any issues or notice any difference.

Yep,

Hunted in rain,
Heavy snow fall and sleet that even iced
My string and was able to get a shot off with zero issues... Granted this is on a crossbow recurve style.
