They'll blame the gun for what is clearly the parent's fault for 1. weapon left unsecured 2. weapon not checked to make sure it wasn't loaded.

Thats sad. Firearm safety should really be drilled into anyone new to shooting, especially children! But furthermore, there should be an adult with a child handleing a firarm AT ALL TIMES!

I think there's a lot of people that really just don't understand gun safety. They don't know the 4 rules or they think they only apply when you're at the range.
