Lots of places to boycott....good thing everyone ran out and got their Ar's and wont need to buy another one any time soon. Chuckdog is right, customer service is king. Keep telling whoever will listen about you bad experiences.

I don't understand how they stay in business as they have some of the most poorly trained staff I've seen. This comes from the top so that about sums it up. Will never go back and will never recommend to anyone. Big store does not equal success!

In this day and age of cellphone tech I find it hard to believe no one is recording these repeat incidents @AO. i was there Sat morn it was jam packed there was a greeter at the door who gave us a warm good morn and welcome to AO and proceeded to shop and checkout with just as nice of a Cashier with a have a great day and thanks for shopping @ AO...It blows me away everytime I read one of the AO stories like this. Until it happens to me or someone records it, I can honestly say I will never believe them.

Your side , their side and somewhere in the middle is the truth! I've never had a bad experience there and I don't think that Jay Wallace's wife works at the store. Usually the attitude of the customer is a reflection of the customer service they receive. I know I would have offered a split it with resolution of some other type of agreement. Giving you cash back is not a option, you pay by credit card you get the credit the same way in my business. I don't work there , but I'm sorry you feel you had a bad experience. Hope you enjoy the rifle.

It seems she did? Get her cash back, I guess. It's plastic you hand them, check or cash is different to me. I bought my ruger 1911 from there paid for it with check waited a year to get it! It went up in price, never paid any more, got to know Kathy on a first name basis, calling to see where I was on the list. I acted nice to her and never felt I was mistreated.

While I have not had this kind of service there, the last three times I was there the wait for the register was inexcusable (twice! and they had two open with many people in line) and they were out of a very common item that should always be in stock-and the price on it was jacked up anyway- all three times walked out empty handed.

I won't say never, if I am in the area need something not available at my preferred stores- and am already in a bad mood then I have nothing to lose......
Otherwise I will always go to GA Firing Line, HiCal and Cherokee who have much better overall service, just smaller inventories of accessories and items.

Its better than a plastic check, its cash, just exchanged electronically versus hand-to-hand.
