Seems like I was seeing the huge dents like that in some brass fired through an AK . I have heard that they are overgassed.

I can see how some of these issues can slip by if you aren't paying close attention to your brass. However, issues like the ones in posts 3 and 4 are pretty obvious. You would have to be blind to miss them.
I am pretty sure that hot loads could have caused the ruptured cases in post 3. However, a couple of those didn't have flattened primers.
I really don't know what caused the issue in post 4.

I have also seen plenty of 7.62x39 brass with similar dents also.
