Brass VS. Nicklel

Lol @ shiny longer. I also heard the plating can flake off and foul your gun. Was just curious, I was offered 10000 once fired .40 sw for $61.00.

Thanks, Jeff

Seems like when I get nickel ones, the only real problem I have is the top splitting open when I bell the mouth.

They don't seem to be as pliable and brass.

I never had any problems with them flaking.. but I can certainly see that happening.

Been using nickel cases for over 35 years. Good for cowboy's to wear in their holster belts, brass turns green if their in contact with leather over time. Nickel is a hard surface coating, don't bell your cases that hard to cause splits. If you keep your guns loaded for defense you won't have galvonic corrosion with the steel of your gun mag or cylinder over time like you will with brass. That's why factories sell defense rounds in nickel cases. Never had trouble with flaking. Good luck hope this helps someone.
