He doesn't look as fit as before.
as far as needing the money... the UFC was paying him 400k each fight plus any bonuses he earned and PPV portions. He was highly overpaid and I think he couldnt handle the punches in the face. I am a huge UFC fan adn tickled to death he is gone!

He has diverticulitis really bad and had to retire. He fought overeem and got beat on kicks to the mid section. Wrestling offers him the chance to make money and not risk death. He could take a punch just didn't like it. He got his ass beat by carwin and fought on to win.
