If you are serious in your endeavor I strongly recommend taking Shep's AR class.

I'll seriously consider that

Ahhhhh, the trusty old rattle can! What coat thickness do you shoot for to maximize durability while still maintaining key dimensional specs? Just curious, I’m definitely not a pro like say, Fatal_Bert Fatal_Bert , but I do use a coating thickness meter to make sure I didn’t put on too much cerakote

The one rifle I painted for a friend once, I just made sure to put the most even coat on it as I could. I made sure it was not too thick but still durable enough. I just did the best I could given what I learned. Haven't heard any complaints about it and that was about a year ago.

I grew up sailing, racing boats. Have seen alot of people trying to turn a hobby into a living. God bless your enthusiasm and your persistence. It might take you far in life but life it is a dog eat dog world and if you don't know who is the sucker in the room it might be you. There is a armorer close to you at true prep. Think about reaching out to him and possibly show him what you got. My dentist just hired a new guy out of school and Says he has the best hands he has seen, but it takes time (25 years) and guidance to get there. "there are no shortcuts to experience"

Best of luck.

Thank you for the encouragement. I am just trying to take my hobby and make money so I can support my wife and baby. But yes, I'm highly dedicated to this amd to making solid products. I will absolutely reach out to that armorer at true prep asap. Thanks
