Thanks I am glad to be one that encourages you to fulfill your dreams. Not long ago I had one when I was at the villages where the pineapple was upside down and preformed like I did 40 years ago. Then I woke up and had to pee. Dreams are wonderfull and I wish you the best.

Thank you for the encouragement. I am just trying to take my hobby and make money so I can support my wife and baby.

Not trying to be a dick but maybe you should get a regular job and try this again after you have some credentials, or at least a stack of guns you've built yourself. Even then you'll just be another guy building AR's(Lego guns) in his garage. $1100 for a rifle from someone with no formal training is a pipe dream.

You might make some side cash to support your hobby, but its not gonna pay the bills.

I totally support someone trying to start their own thing but youre a very small fish in a very large pond at this point. Good luck with whatever you choose, try to stay realistic.

If you are serious about doing this kind of stuff, I highly recommend starting with an armorer course like Shep's. It is local and is well worth it. Have you worked in this industry prior? Are you an 07/02? I dig that you are trying to make the hobby a career, but you got to set yourself up for success.

Get the knowledge, procedures, and tools to build AR’s 100% correctly, to know what parts are worth using, what’s an actual upgrade, and how to spot the majority of the crap that is……..crap.

Then build, service, and do folks right!

If you can do all that, good on ya, and I’m rooting for ya. The majority of folks still think AR’s are Legos, and put about that much skill in their assembly. The community needs more folks doing things the right way. If your goal is to be one of those professionals, I welcome you.

Trust me I agree. I've done tons of research and learning what parts are good and which aren't. I plan to meticulously build each gun and make sure they are as accurate and durable as possible while still being affordable.
