I understand. But I'm taking the steps I can to ensure that nothing happens to my business due to possible incompetenceArguably, there's no better way to make it clear what caliber it uses, by having the caliber clearly marked on the barrel and/or action. All responsible manufacturers do this for you already by stamping their barrels.
And yet, people still load firearms with the wrong ammo. And no matter how much you tell them, when there's an accident like this, the manufacturer has to assume significant costs to defend themselves against legal action.
I'm not saying this with the intent to belittle or dissuade you from pursuing this career. It's to explain, in part, why starting out targeting customers who want a "cheap" semi-custom AR platform built out of "cheap" parts may not generate enough revenue to justify the risk you may be taking on.
