If you alter the appearance of a weapon, IE, paint it or change anything other than the stock or hand guard, you Must have a 07 FFL. This is more crucial thank a tax # or business license. Posting an ad to do business is where the Conspiracy part comes into play. I personally know someone who did 5 years in Prison for Conspiracy to sell drugs(weed) and all he did was tell someone that he new a guy that could get him some weed, but he didn't do anything else and got 5 years, he was sent to Prison in talladega.
One could make a post asking if there would be any interest at a particular price range and be completely legal. I'm not a lawyer nor do I stay in a holiday inn, but I don't want to see anyone get into trouble over something avoidable.
