I have a Browning Golden Five that I bought about 10 years ago. Has been in an climate controlled environment all it life. only hunted with it a few times and always cleaned and oiled after use. Was going thru safe this weekend, checking my guns and I found that the synthetic camo stock is oozing out a sticky rosin type goo. Has anyone had this problem, and what can I clean it with? Soap and water wont get off my hands. Its like a glue. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Some of their earlier run Duratouch stocks were defective and had those issues. I had a black one with the same problems, contacted Browning about it, sent it back to them and they replaced it with a new one. That's your best option because the one you have can't be remedied..........

Thanks for the help. Browning said send it back for a replacement. Problem being is camo pattern is no longer available. Will have match close as they can. Now to tear it down.
