Gravity feed does not get wet!I’m not a buck muscle fan when it gets wet , and it will it’s horrendous.
i agree though feed protein now until fall as deer need it.
Ummm yeah….Gravity feed does not get wet!
Sour mash you say ?Ummm yeah….
I have Boss Buck gravity feeder it leaks.
hopefully your feeder does not because you will smell the sour that’s wet buck muscle .
I have noticed some of those blocks! Nothing will touch them and stay there forever, and maggots like crazyI use buck muscle as well. The coons eat it as fast as corn. I’ve never had it in the feeder long enough to go bad. I used Big and J feed twice and both times the deer wouldn’t touch it. It got wet and OMG the smell , the grubs growing in it would make a weak stomach person puke. I had to scrap that nasty crap out by hand. Nearly 30 years of EMS service has left me with a cast iron gut.
