Bug out Bag.....need advice

Feel free to stop by and check out either of our locations. We have developed our own kit that works well as a starter kit. We looked around at available kits on the market and just couldn't find anything we liked that was made with quaility items at a price we thought was reasonable, so we put together the kit below which has become a very popular kit and now we cannot build them fast enough!

We also carry some smaller kits produced by some other manufacturers, but I would encourage you to come and check us out as you might find you want to just start your own kit from scratch. We provide everything you would need to do so!

I picked up a kit similar to this one from TruPrep last year for my Dad. I wanted them to have something (They were not into prepping then). It's a good starter kit. I threw a couple of more items in. I had a knife engraved and gave it to him for his birthday.

There is a lot of good advice here. We did a bug out camping thing on 2/2 to test our bags. I carried both my bug out and my get-home to test em both. It seemed the most important things were a camo tarp, a fire starter, a chopping/cutting tool, a way to dig and a way to boil water/cook. It rained almost all night and it felt like it was in the 30s. WARM AND DRY MATTERS A LOT. Don't forget the toilet paper either. Lol. A bug out situation is an instant survival situation so what's in ur bag is what u have to work with but the most important think u can take with you is SURVIVAL KNOWLEDGE.
