No update yet. I contacted Surefire and was told since I’m still waiting on my stamp so the gun shop can transfer it to my trust, that the gun shop would have to send it to them for inspection. The guy at my shop said he’s been busy and tried a couple times to talk to Surefire but hasn’t been able to get in touch with anyone. Said he’d try again... Seems like I was able to get in touch with someone there pretty quick.... I’ll touch base with the shop next week and see if he’s had time to mess with this. My patience is wearing thin with this situation right about now.

Dang man, I can understand why your patience is thinning. You spend good money on something that is defective and you have to rely on someone else’s to make it right when that someone else doesn’t have a vested interest in it.

A thought. Since you paid up front for it and it had to sit in the shop waiting for approval and they let you use it (on their range I guess?) have you asked them if they let someone else try it out or one of the guys there was using it?
Another question, would it be possible to cancel transfer and get a refund? Just thinking if you end up needing a new can/serial number then this may save a second stamp expense.

You can cancel a pending F4, but I am not sure that would be the best option.
