Best place to buy ammo locally is GA Arms. Call before you go during the week to make sure they have what you want in stock. I bought 500rnds of 223 for $275 last week. 9mm (500rnds) for $135. Their website is not up to date on inventory.

Reloading is good and has a lot of positives, even when ammo prices come down. But right now it's difficult to find primers and bullets, not impossible though.
I think the supplies will come back in the next couple months so no reason to not start accumulating. There have been three presses I know of for sale in the last week on here.
