How do I bump a old listing back to the 1st page ? Or do I have to delete and repost ?

If youre browsing the forum using the default setting, threads are ordered by their original post date. Adding a new Bump to it will show your thread in the New Posts list, but won't push it to the top of the forum where you posted it. make sense?

So yeah, since the default view setting is by OP date, to get it back to the first page for everyone to see it is recommended that you create a new thread and add a link to your old thread inside. Or, you can just re-create the thread from scratch if youd like (and probably close or delete the old one). Just dont do this too often, I believe the rules say one new thread every three days or something.

Yeah thats what I use also, much better for browsing. I also use the Whats New list on side of the main forum view to see what all has been listed in the trading forums specifically.
