Bumping and relisting

Let me start off by saying this site rocks!The members are great!When posting for sale - why do we bump? Does it help in getting your add back to the top of the review pile? If so how ? Is it based on activity sorting?I understand you need to wait 72 hrs to repost - this then would move your ad to the top of the pileAny insight would be helpfulCoach Jim

I think the people have to know you personally to get a "BUMP", at least that's what I have seen. I never got one myself but, hey no biggie to me, My stuff has been sold or traded when posted anyway, with or without a "bump". I would not worry too much about it because IMO it really means nothing. I have seen several people "bump" with no affect what so ever.

If you become a site supporter, you have access to "The Feed" and can see all posts as they come in (warning addictive). You can see what topics are being discussed in the forum and you see when people bump or comment in for sale ads.

Also, it is possible to view threads in bumped order rather than chronological order.

The bump puts it at the top of "What's New" section.
Excessive bumping is against the rules, about two a day is OK,
