You hear the media blast its name... how is it really? Good for the price? They are up there with colt...

The media blasts it because, unfortunately that's what the guys stole and used to kill with. I own one and it has been a fine gun. I bought an or model one week after the sandy hook shootings and paid around $1000 for it. I have never had any problems with it. It fires every time I pull the trigger and is very accurate with the optics that I put on it. It may not be a colt but for the price I think that it's a great and fun investment.

Yeah my dealer had one in stock for a couple weeks... My colt 6920 doesn't function perfectly. It doesn't like russian steel ammo. I guess it doesn't like the casing. The Silver bear where its zinc casing, it did a little better but still failure to extract. I am thinking about an M&P15...

I have heard that the older ones are a little better than the ones that Walmart started selling. I have one that I bought in 2003 and have had no issues at all with about 6,000 rounds down the pipe. I love mine, just as good as a Colt!

I haven't tried any steel ammo through mine yet so I can't give any feedback on it. I do have a couple of friends that have shot steel through their m&ps. One ate it up from the start and the other had to break it in for a while before it would cycle properly, but it will feed now.

Yeah I want another rifle but I don't like the idea of having the same rifle... Its like having 2 glock 19s lol.

I once ran 600 rounds of Silver Bear through my BM and after about 500 rounds I'd have to hit the forward asst. to fire the next round...very nasty ammo. I have put a ton of the Wolf and Tulammo through it with no issues. I have heard that too much steel ammo can break an extractor, that's the bad part.... the good part an extractor is not too much $$

I agree with that, but as far as choosing a new rifle. I love my bushie and my friends love their s&ws. I think that flaws are always possible no matter what manufacturer, so it depends how much money you want to spend on a new gun.
