There are two ways to handle a situation on here. There is the right way and there is the way he is handling it.

For example, my hat is off to Main Street Range for addressing an issue brought up by a member and endearing himself to the 25,000+ members here.

I think we all understand stuff happens and with the insanity that sprang up it would be understandable to get behind on orders etc. What is not understandable is the response given in this thread. I work in retail and there is NO EXCUSE to not make it right for ANY customer.

Main Street was awesome on taking care of that. Sky Guns seriously underestimated how things work here. I'm feeling a 'Red Jacket' here. Acting bigger than they are, getting in over their heads, lying about actual contracts.

Getting behind is one thing, taking people's money and not delivering as promised is something entirely different. When these folks forked over their hard earned cash, it was for a complete gun. There was no caveat that it had to be built on a specific lower in order to get that price. He sold something that he didn't even have and then couldn't get. He then had to buy lowers at retail cost to fulfill the orders. IMHO, that's the cost of doing business and he should not expect anyone to pay one red cent more than they originally agreed to. Those that refused should not have been pushed to the back of the line either. He made a gamble as a business owner and it bit him in the rear. His profit margins are not our concern. Nor should someone be asked to help improve them because he priced his product poorly. Lesson learned.

Still should happen. No way to salvage the reputation after all the responses and dragging it out. In my opinion the posts from the seller speak volumes as to motive and mentality. At least it has been a public execution.
