Buying firearms through the mail

How much do FFL dealer charge as a general rule to have a firearm shipped to them that you buy online? And is it worth doing?

Prices range from free to $40 depending on who you use.

Is it worth it? Depends on how much you can save if buying new, a lot of times it's definitely worth it.

Call your LGS and ask 'em what they charge for transfers.

Yeah what they've said. Plus if you are a regular at your LGS they may do it cheap or even free if they know you well. I've gotten a few good scores off Gunbroker shipped to my FFL for nothing just because they know I'll spend money there.
