Just an FYI, if you’re just upgrading the existing trigger and not building a new unit, a drop in volquartzen hammer kit will give you a sweet 2lb trigger pull...cheaper and much nicer than a BX trigger group.

Another option that is better than a BX is a brimstone trigger job level 2 is as good as you'll need
BX triggers are underwhelming after comparing to some of the other stuff
Do not even consider a BX right now. They are normally around $70 and you'd be lucky to find one at $125 right now. Do what

Ok, I am willing to go another route. I was able to pick up a BX trigger from Brownells at normal pricing recently (I was on the alert list and ordered quick). I have two 10-22s with bull barrels but stock triggers. The BX trigger is noticeably better than stock and certainly easy.
I am fine with getting the Volq hammer kit for $40+/-. Any other options in that price range I should consider. The 10-22 is more of a fun gun - I have plenty of precision rifles. Thanks for all the input.

Install the BX trigger in one and the VQ hammer in the other and do a side by side comparison...you’ll notice it.
