OK - I ordered a VQ hammer kit to try. That is a great price on the BX at Bullseye in Lawrenceville - that should not last long. If I prefer the VQ hammer - I may "flip" the BX on here or eBay! Thanks for all the suggestions and advice!

Followon question reference the VQ hammer - I can get the VQ hammer alone or get the VQ hammer with VQ springs? Do the VQ springs make a difference? Thanks
I used only the hammer, not the springs...so I don’t know...but the hammer itself was a huge improvement.
I got my Volquartsen 10-22 hammer kit in the mail. Installed it today in the very old 10-22 trigger assembly I removed for the BX upgrade. As stated in this thread - it is a great improvement and probably at least as good as the BX assembly. Hope to get to the range soon to try out. Thanks
Great news! It is a relatively inexpensive and easy upgrade.
I got the Volq hammer kit for $25 from eBay. Took a chance and it appears legit in Volquartsen packaging.
I picked up two as well for a few 10/22's I have basic triggers for. I've ordered multiple items from their eBay store. It is coming directly from Volquartsen. I picked up their barrel and competition bolt while I was there as well.
Love that trigger. Back in stock at Brownells but I resisted.
Bullseye had 3! I controlled my impulse to just 1.
