Golden Retriever. He's our sixth since I retired from the Air Force in 1998. He'll be the third service dog. Four were rescues and all were red. The breeder in Alabama we got Grace from had a buyer back out of a reservation and we snagged him. Grace is 9½ and recently started slowing down. Last picture is of my first working dog Scout. He passed in 2020.

Cabela's really has some good deals sometimes. Picked up a 2014 Dan Wesson Valor Bob about six weeks ago. They shipped it from a SC store to the Acworth store. It had white plastic grips. I put G10 grips on it.

I'm sorry about the loss of your dog Scout. I lost my beloved pet several years ago. Not a day goes by that I don't think about her. Now I have a dog with a personality as big as she is (60-something pound German Shepherd/Chow Chow/Super Mutt Mix) named "Peaches."
I always wondered if this existed. You, sir, will have made me lose my afternoon and ruin my bank account.
They have some beautiful and very expensive guns in their library. I don't have a Cabelas anywhere near me thank goodness.
The sad thing is that it was SO much better when it was still Cabela's. Ever since Bass Pro took over, it has gotten worse by a longshot.
They don't have the used gun library unless something has changed at BP. It's been years since I've been in one. Their new guns are pricey. They would have to be having a killer sale to get me to buy from them.
