Voice sounds familiar. I think I went to high school with that Bubba.
When I was a teenager, this nut down the street built a go cart and put a motorcycle engine on it. Used a Yamaha YZ125 motor !! That damned thing would haul ass ! lol.
He built it up pretty stout…4wheel disc brakes…pretty fat tires…as low as that thing sat on the ground….and as fast as it was…. It was amazing he didn’t kill himself ! Couldn’t anything or anyone catch him. He would get to running the neighborhood with it and cops would chase him…he had a garage door opener taped to the roll cage…he would get tired of them and get a lead on them and come down the road , slip into the garage and shut the door. They would spend hours trying to find him.
