has anyone thought about going up there and sitting on the side of the road with a sign.WILL BUY CERTAIN TYPES OF ASSAULT WEAPONS FOR $200if there is no law against it,100 or so of us should go up with 400 bucks and screw there buyback up.we would make the news and if done right it would make a good statement.gun owners will not stand for the destruction of guns.
One problem is, how would you know if any if the guns are stolen? Most of these "buy back" days have a built in immunity. That is the realPurpose, to get the people that have these guns and are worried they may be stolen to turn them in without the fear of prosecution. But other than that I would be all for it, especially if the deals are brought back here! :)

It's also tremendous motivation for thieves to go out and break into peoples homes and steal guns that will not be checked to see if they are stolen. It sure is wonderful that law enforcement has dreamed up a new market for stolen firearms.
