Camping in RV

My buddy has direct t.v I think he carries a box and uses it for tailgating and camping at lake.i don’t know a lot about it but it works.he also has a satellite dish he sets up outside.pm me and i can get more information if you interested.

If you're going to waste time watching tv, just stay at home and be comfortable.
That is what we do.
120 channels, clean bathrooms, comfortable queen size bed.
Climate controlled space, refrigerator full of food,
No hassle finding a campground with vacancy and setting up /tearing down.

We also had a coax cable for campgrounds. At the farm, we used antenna. Anymore even at the house antenna rarely comes in. So we use Roku

I'm always in a state park or national forest..got an antenna that I put up....using a phone as a hot spot for wi fi sounds like the best idea I guess. Had a few dc tv's with built in dvd. None of them last. Sometimes I download a few movies on the lap top.. most of the time there is not any cell phone where I go.

Not sure where to put this so here goes
For those of you who camp in an rv, what’s the best way to get TV in it when camping?
Wife and I are trying to get it figured out and not sure.
Dish, DIRECTV, something different, cut your toenails and don’t bother with it or just eat tacos to take up time

Appreciate any suggestions
Other than tacos & toenails
Get a cellular wifi for $55 a month and buy a roku for your TV. There will be times where you can't get service but this way gets you a lot of options.

Our Grand Design camper has a built in TV antenna with boost and we get some channels normally but last week we were in the N Ga mountains camping and found 0 channels. We don't watch tv during the day but once we get in bed we like to watch some.
We bought one of the external antennas my wife found on Amazon but it don;t do crap.
Just checking to see other options
