Is this the commercial version of the 550 paracord or one actually manufactured to Mil-C-5040 Type 3 specs? The item description is a little confusing with the "note from the manufacturer" at the bottom adding to the confusion.
Yea, that is confusing. It sounds like it is not exactly the same product as military paracord based on the materials used, but still rates at 550 lbs which for me is the important thing. I've noticed some 550 cord feels thicker than other 550 cord so clearly everyone isn't using the same process/materials.
