Can A Florida Resident buy a gun from me, only if he meets me at FFL right?

I just spoke with a Georgia FFL dealer, long guns are ok, handguns are no go. Rifle does not have to go to FFL dealer.

Is that a reputable dealer? I know some dealers don't know the firearm FFL law much...

If a long gun is going to change ownership across state lines, the new owner needs to full out a 4473 on the gun. So in order for them to fill out the 4473 it must be shipped to a ffl holder.

Following that dealer's information will lead you to commit a felony.

The FL resident can purchase the rifle from you and transfer it at a GA or FL FFL and will have to fill out the 4473. If it were a pistol, the only place he can get it transferred to him is a FL FFL.

Sell it to him without going through a FFL= may land you in Jail.

Sell it to him using a FFL= you are covered.

I know which one I would choose.
