Can anyone identify this magazine?

Found this in a box-o-stuff with some other gun junk. I cannot figure out what it goes to. It is .22 and has a detente on the base plate for take down.

Gonna have a very low or bottom mag release button (as per the low cutout) so it would narrow down to a handgun.

Nothing on the backbone

At first glimpse I thought it was a Ruger mark 2 or 3 mag but the feed ramp is way too steep.

It's either a Beretta 71, 70s, or maybe a 75 Jaguar magazine without the finger rest.
