Cancun or Cozumel?

How was the quality Bill?
I’ve been shaken down almost every time I’ve been there.
Then again I don’t travel in the regular tourista circles.

oh it’s was fantastic! but a bit uncomfortable! right in front of the armed guards

Anyone stay at any all inclusive resorts in Cancun or Cozumel? Thinking about going for a week to snorkel and see the Mayan ruins. Any recommendations on resort? Places to snorkel or other items?

I have been to Cancun a couple times and Chichen Itza once. If you are going to g there would go on a bus. They take care of everything. If you drive yourself you’ll get hammered for ‘gringo tax’ several times.

I personally don’t like the ‘all inclusive’. They’ll serve lots of food and drink. But the food and drink is not what I would choose.

The last time I stayed at an airbnb. Each unit had a full kitchen and a front desk manned 24 hours. They also had a concierge to handle things like trips to Chichen Itza, jet skiing, para-sailing, and all the tourist stuff.
