What’s the history/country of manufacture behind this gun?

It’s the nicest and most uniquely designed handguns I’ve seen at this price point ($399), but I’ve never heard of the maker of the gun itself ever.

Most of the Hi Power clones, Girsan, Inglis, Century are coming out of Turkey. I don't know whether they come from the same factory.

"Inglis" is very famous when it comes to Hi Powers.

But- it's NOT that Inglis.

SDS/Mac bought the brand name for marketing.

The guns are made by Tisas then imported by Inglis/SDS/MAC

Interesting mix of historic name/finish/etc with more modern sights/features

Girsan is a Turkish manufacturer. Inglis (the modern version) is a trademark/brand name owned by MAC/SDS imports that they put on Tisas (Turkish) Hi Powers.

The Century Arms is imported by Century but made in Turkey by

Alpharms Savunma Sanayi Ltd.

I had an Inglis Chinese Contract Demo Pistol. Peep the serial number....


But yeah... These look Damn good. I hate to support Turkey or their government... But I really like the case color.

I like case hardening on lever gun receivers and SA revolvers. Also generally like Turkish made handguns.

I find that finish on a Hi Power clone a bit...weird.

Girsan makes a nice nickel version but I won't buy anything from the Hamas supporters.
