I remember reading about that guy as well. He was definitely naive, careless and did not do any research about the states gun laws he was traveling to.

I definitely like the idea of dropping off your gun at a shop in VA for a "cleaning" and then picking it up on your way back home where they don't despise your constitutional rights. Just say'n.

National reciprocity now. No way an American citizen should be deprived of their 2nd amendment rights because liberal politicians refuse to enforce the laws already passed to deal with criminal behavior. What's next? Making cars illegal because some people choose to drink and drive. Ridiculous that we have to worry about going to jail for exercising our rights as free law abiding Americans.

The only people that travel around with guns in their cars in NY are the cops and criminals. I can't get over the number of criminals turning in their guns in NY and the rest of the nation because of it being illegal for them to possess one.
