What's the deal with this model? Seems like a smoking deal even before the soft case, 4 mags, AND a Colt Carhartt jacket. Hell, the jacket is like $80! Any comments on the rifle?

Appears to be if you buy ANY Colt Sporter style rifle until August 31 you get the free jacket(through Colt). It looks like a nice Carhardt jacket too!!

To the best of my knowledge, they are not actually made by Colt, but a company under contract by Colt http://www.outdoorlife.com/blogs/gun-shots/2013/11/gun-review-colt-competition-crx-16-and-csr-1516-rifles

It is not a true Pony, however it gets a good write up and with all of the accessories, appears to be a great deal.

Where do I look to get the jacket from? My father bought that rifle a few weeks ago from PSA.

I held one not long ago. Big time PASS on this...not even comparable to a 6920 that's $150 more. Reminded me of a Sportical. Like someone else stated, this is not a Colt made gun.
