Exactly what I wanted to know.

I wanted to like it, who wouldn't want a 22lr M1 carbine? I picked it up for like $225 or so. I am still mad about how poorly executed that thing was. Had such high hopes.

The 10/22 is such a predictable and serviceable platform. Getting an M1 stock for it makes the most sense given the shortcomings of the Citadel. You saved me a couple hundred bucks and my Dad potential aggravation. Thanks again!

Milsurp, thanks for the posting.

My oldest son bought one early on, the front sight post was PLASTIC! It would bend. No way of keeping a zero as it best (seemingly at whim) all day long.

A friend has a 9mm version and LOVES it. His has metal sights and seems to work well.
