I have a set of gas logs to be hooked up in my fireplace. There is a gas line already installed, I just need the logs installed. I know it probably dosent seem that hard but I would prefer not to blow up my home with me and my wife inside. Does anyone now of a company or a person that could do this? Chickamauga, GA.

It isn't hard at all, just get flare fittings and put a valve there if there isn't one. Get everything good and tight and turn the gas on, then get a spray bottle with some soapy water in it and spray it all down good and look for bubbles.

A good heating and air company can do it for you. It is expensive because of the insurance they have to carry. And you are right, a news making Ka-Boom is not what you want.
