It's a big ask to expect the Mistic Fudd to learn from the unfolding flow of objective facts.
Fudd Mysticism is a personal intuition that transcends ordinary understanding. It's sheer speculation, ideas that rise out of emotion, self-authenticated theories unrelated to objective fact or evidence whose authenticity is measures by a man comparing his thoughts to himself. To put it simply its sheer speculation believed to be reality.
Learning from repeatedly being proven to be wrong.......ain't going to happen for them, ever.
Given the fact that most journalists also make extensive use of 4chan and X for their 'scoops', the 72-hour rule is more valid than ever before. Add to that the intrinsic ignorance of not just journalists, but also social media platform commenters.
