Cheap and easy places to take your Kids

amen to number 2!

if we go out to dinner and the little one goes with us and gets out of hand we try to calm him down. if he doesn't within 5 minutes one of us takes him to the car and the other tells the waiter to box it up to go. our's is only 2yo right now. he gets a pop on the rear and a "no sir, you dont do that" when needed, but getting a pop on a daiper padded butt either draws a laugh from him and does nothing, or completely breaks his little heart and the crying will get much worse. so leaving is the only thing for us to do.

I myself don't care what today's society thinks about a good old fashioned spanking. it worked for me growing up and it will work for my child when needed.

Peanut shells in the hair indicates it wasn't the kind of restaurant where you expect "ambiance." I get the problem with misbehaving kids. I've yanked one up and taken them outside for a spanking at McDonald's and it has a playground. BUT I'll never understand adult couples getting bent out of shape over it at a casual restaurant. If it's got a kid's menu, don't go there if you don't like kids.

Best cheap and easy place is the woods. Took my two oldest out last week for some four-wheelin' and splashing in the creek. We saw some wildlife, chased spawning carp around some shoals and had a great time. I spent less than twenty including lunch at DQ.
