This might not be popular, but before you buy out of town, give your local guy a chance to get what you want and price match it if they can. There were many times that I had people transfer guns in to my store and I could have saved them money over what they paid for it. Try to support the local guy and local economy as best you can.

I was in Rome Gun & Pawn today, checking on something for a friend of course, and found out they now do free transfers. They are a great LGS and the free transfer just adds to it, for my friend.
