Cheapest FFL Transfer Fee?

Never understood folks who choose firearms as a hobby, but have issues with an additional $10 here or there in transfer fees. Mind boggling.

Edit: Find a shop you like that employs people you enjoy being around. Even if you don't buy your guns from them, give them your transfer business. Pay what they want. $20 here or there isn't going to break the bank my friend.

Pastb- $20 is fine! Shooters is asking $50! And my brother's "friend" is asking $35!

I'd rather spend a few bucks more and deal with a local or convenient place. That way I don't have to drive 45 minutes or an hour each way to "save" $10 bucks.
You realize this is ODT? Get out of here with yer fancy common sense an' all.

Same as when people tell me they got a new car to "save" money on gas or "lower" their payment. They barely mention that they also added 3 more years on to their loan.

Just did two transfers today, at a place that I drive by on the way home. High prices be damned! :thumb: The one I use most often, will discount them if you do two at one time.

$15 in Roswell (38 mile round trip) vs $50 a mile away. It’s not the $35, it’s the insult. $20 to $30 I’d be fine (and gas isn’t an issue bcz my electric car costs about $1.00 to $1.75 per 60 miles - yeah that’s real). And if anyone has an issue with electric cars costing virtually nothing to charge and service, well, that it’s not about the planet, but about stress free no gas, no oil changes, no transmission worries….

Outrageous, isn't it, people running businesses charging for their services.

What's outrageous is that the ODT collective thinks they know what's best for every FFL in town. God forbid one of them should offer free transfers to get people to come to their store...

And, once again, people are here virtue signaling who don't have a supporter badge so I guess free is okay, sometimes.

For price/distance, silver dollar is the winner so far. How are their firearm prices and selection?

Funny you should ask. The only reason I know anything about the prices and the inventory at Silver Dollar Pawn is because I dropped in to see them and look around - because of their low transfer fee. Y'all see how that works???
