Back when we had local USPSA matches, I really enjoyed shooting in them... My advice would be to grab a gun and give it a try- I never invested a ton of money into a real race setup. I mostly shot the production class with a stock pistol.

I've shot both. Both sports have their pros and cons. IDPA suits my needs for now although I will occasionally attend the Cherokee USPSA match when I have the time and money to spend on ammo.

I had some issues with my neck this am, so I think I will try for next weekends USPSA event. Getting old sux!
